Say goodbye to store-bought mayonnaise; we no longer want seed oils or any inflammatory ingredients in our mayo. When something is so easy to make, just make it. Right? I make this weekly, as I regularly make sandwiches for my husband’s lunches. Mayonnaise is something we go through pretty quickly in our household. If you ever looked at some of the ingredients on a jar of mayo, you might be shocked to know there are so many unnecessary additives, many of which cause inflammation. It’s really sad that we cannot trust most things purchased at the grocery store these days. If I could suggest one thing to you, I would say learn to read labels on the food items you want to purchase. I consider this like learning another language because so many things are hidden under various names. Sugar, for example, is not always listed as sugar; it can be listed as dextrose, corn syrup, maltodextrin, or sucrose, to name a few.
When you start looking at the labels you will find yourself putting more things back on the shelf. I always say it is best to just shop the perimeter of the store, since most items located on the inside aisle are processed foods. These foods are full of chemicals and preservatives which will harm your body. I know it is hard for many people to believe but it is actually factual and true. Enough of that, just go make this recipe!
