Dutch Pancakes are easy like Sunday morning. Looking for a quick and easy Sunday morning breakfast recipe your family will love? This Dutch Pancake recipe is it! If you’ve never heard of a Dutch Pancake, you truly are missing out! This quick and easy breakfast will become a favorite for your family, just as it is mine. Regular pancakes can be time-consuming and hard to make for a larger family. The Dutch Pancake takes less than 10 minutes to prep and will cook for 25-30 minutes after that, allowing you a bit more time in the morning to get other chores done.
What I love most about the Dutch Pancake is that it comes out perfect every time. You really can’t mess them up unless you forget to set a timer. Other than that, they are literally foolproof.
You’ll notice that the ingredients listed are all organic and that I use raw milk. Many people don’t realize but raw milk is the healthiest and most nutritious milk you can drink. People who are lactose intolerant do just fine drinking raw milk. If you’ve never tried it, you definitely should. Read more about the health benefits of raw milk in my article here.
If you check out the video from my Instagram that I’ve embedded at the bottom of this page, you’ll see that you can add all kinds of toppings. In the video I added bananas to one, because my youngest toddler loves bananas. For the other topping, I made a nectarine puree from nectarines from our own tree. My older toddler loves that. Other ideas for toppings that we often do are fresh blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries from our garden. To kick up the sweetness for those with a sweet tooth, we will add Swerve Confectioners or Swerve Brown or a high-quality maple syrup. But honestly, if you are using ripe fruit, you really don’t need it.
If you end up trying this recipe I’d love to hear about it in the comments. Enjoy!
