If you haven’t heard of bone marrow then let me enlighten you to this amazing superfood. What is bone marrow? Bone marrow is found inside the center of a bone. It is soft and fatty in texture and it is packed with amazing health benefits. When cooked it turns into a gel like butter texture that is amazing with a bit of salt. While it might intimidate to think about cooking bone marrow, it’s quite easy. But let’s talk benefits first!

Did you know that bone marrow is healthy for you as it’s loaded with protein, collagen, healthy fats, omega-3 fatty acid, iron, vitamin A, can help to improve memory, repairs body cells, excellent source of minerals, and aids in digestion. Oh, there is more! Bone marrow also promotes cardiovascular system, fights cancer, maintains bone health, promotes white blood cells, helps our bodies detoxification process, boosts immunity, and helps our body’s metabolism to function. Wow, that is a lot. With those kinds of health benefits, who wouldn’t want to add bone marrow to their diet?

For our health and wellness, there is always one thing to keep in mind. Always source the best quality foods. Organic grass-fed is the absolute best. Everything goes into the bone marrow so if you are eating it from animals who are fed GMO feed, then you’re getting all that crap, too.
